Art therapy Malvern

Welcome!

Samantha is an expressive arts therapist passionate about the role of experiential, arts-based processes in fostering insight, healing and transformation.

People often seek therapy during times of crisis and uncertainty, when a path forward feels unclear. Change, transition, grief and loss can take many forms —relationship ruptures, education and career shifts, trauma, illness or end of life. These experiences can affect us deeply (and differently), leading to feelings of anxiety, mental distress, overwhelm, diminished self-worth, a sense of stuckness, and disconnection from ourselves and our communities.

Art therapy offers a creative space for exploration, where clients can use art materials, journaling, poetry, clay, movement and more to express and make sense of their experiences. It’s a flexible, client-led process that invites reflection, meaning-making, and emotional expression through different creative forms. No prior art making experience is required.

Samantha’s companioning approach is person-centred and co-creative. She weaves together expressive modalities, mindfulness and therapeutic dialogue to explore the emotions, thoughts, feelings, challenges and aspirations that bring you to therapy, in the here and now.

Guided by safety, inclusivity, and reciprocity, Samantha offers a compassionate and non-judgemental space for her clients to honour their living experiencing, uncover meanings, reimagine purpose, and rediscover themselves – trusting in their innate capacity to heal, grow, and discern what to carry forward and what to leave behind.

Whether you're seeking support for yourself or a young person you care about, reach out to Samantha for a confidential, free phone/online 20min introductory consultation.

The task of therapy is not to eliminate suffering but to give a voice to it, to find a form in which it can be expressed. Expression is itself transformation; this is the message that art brings.
